Evan Bourne vs Cody RhodesAnimosity continues between Evan Bourne and The Big Show
After his elimination from the PSI Championship tournament last week, Cody Rhodes was eager to put his loss behind him. But his opposition, Evan Bourne, had also met an early exit from the tournament; and was trying to build his own profile. The clash of technical mat wrestling and innovative offence was an exciting spectacle to begin the week, and it was Bourne that ended the contest with a huge step-up enziguri.
However, Bourne’s celebrations were cut short by the arrival of The Big Show, who was intent on making Bourne pay for his distraction last week. After slamming Bourne to the mat with a thunderous choke-slam, The Big Show told Bourne it was just a taste of what is coming to him this weekend at Hunted.

Matt Hardy (with Jeff Hardy) vs John Morrison (with The Miz)Once again, a match between The Hardy Boyz and Miz and Morrison ended controversially
After picking up simultaneous victories in last week’s Falls Count Anywhere tag-team match, Matt Hardy and John Morrison faced off with their respective tag partners at ringside. Momentum swung back and forth during the match, at one point leading the Miz to try stepping into the ring for his tag-partner; but once again, tensions boiled over before the match could end; causing an all-in brawl and a double disqualification. Will either team be able to emerge with the upper hand at Hunted? Or will their continuing animosity cause disarray and give the third element of the matchup - Hawkins and Ryder - an opportunity to capitalise upon with the tag titles on the line?

Chris Jericho vs The Great KhaliChris Jericho was left running during his match-up against The Great Khali
With his triple-threat match for the Intercontinental Championship less than a week away, Chris Jericho competed in his first match in ALPHA against another debutant — the 7-foot-1 Great Khali. While Y2J brought some early offence, his strikes couldn’t fell the Punjabi Playboy — instead being planted by the Giant’s chops. Escaping to the ring floor, Jericho began to lead The Great Khali on a chase around the ring, before sliding in to beat the referee’s count of ten. With his opponent counted out, Jericho managed to pick up his first victory on PSI, and stay relatively unharmed before his triple threat match at Hunted!

Differences Aside for Tonight Only
Fans in attendance couldn’t wait for the main event put together by PSI General Manager Tommy Dreamer — a tag-team match that pitted Hunted opponents against each other — Triple H and Randy Orton in one corner, CM Punk and the Intercontinental Champion, Edge, in the other. But Orton made it clear that his opponent, Triple H, should watch closely; because he planned to defeat Triple H the same way he planned to win the match tonight — with an RKO out of nowhere.

Triple H and Randy Orton vs CM Punk and EdgePSI Championship Number One Contenders Triple H and Randy Orton stare each other down ahead of their match at Hunted
Two weeks ago, Randy Orton and Triple H beat CM Punk and Edge respectively to continue on in the PSI Tournament; but one would be mistaken to think such successes would be easily repeated, given the stipulation that they would have to work together. Instead, it seemed as though all four competitors were reluctant to work with their partners, shying away from tag-ins to allow the punishment within the ring to continue. In the end, Orton stayed true to his word, turning Edge’s spear attempt into an RKO in the centre of the ring and pinning the Intercontinental Champion. The celebrations were cut short, however, after Triple H responded to Orton with a rattling Pedigree to CM Punk. With the two combatants for the PSI Championship staring each other down in the ring, excitement for this weekend’s title match reached a fever pitch. Who will leave Hunted this Saturday with the gold?
